Virginia Romero is a recognized professional in the advertising industry, with extensive experience in the management and optimization of ad monetization strategies for publishers. With a degree in Business Administration and two Masters in Business Management and Digital Marketing from ESIC, Virginia has developed her career working as director of planning and purchasing in agencies such as Carat, Mindshare and Initiative.

After several years working in media agencies, she made the leap to Smartclip, joining as head of the special actions department and then spending the last ten years leading the Media Select department, managing the monetization and client service of more than 50 publishers, many of them in the Comscore Top 10.

Virginia joins the Refinery89 team to not only drive and further grow its network of Publishers, but also to bring her expertise with a client-centric approach to such important aspects as providing excellent personalized attention and service to local publishers.
